PROJECT APPROACH

How Maison Sand Works

Maison Sand approaches each project as a strategic process that connects spatial vision with the right design partners, brands and materials.

Our role is to translate an initial concept into clear design decisions — from atmosphere and material direction to the sourcing and integration of furniture, lighting, art and objects.

Working alongside architects, developers and interior teams, we ensure that every element contributes to a coherent spatial identity and can be realised efficiently in practice.

Each project is structured in phases, allowing clarity of direction from early concept through sourcing, logistics and final implementation.

01-Concept & Project Framework

Every project begins with understanding the space, its purpose and the ambitions behind it.

At this stage we establish the conceptual framework that will guide the project — defining spatial direction, atmosphere and the overall design logic.

This foundation allows all further decisions to remain coherent as the project develops.

This phase may include:

• defining the spatial concept and project vision
• identifying key design principles
• establishing atmosphere and material direction
• aligning expectations between client and project partners

02 —Desing DIRECTION & Brand Curation

Once the framework is defined, the project moves into a curated design phase.

Maison Sand connects the spatial vision with the right European brands, materials and design elements.

Furniture, lighting, materials and objects are selected not as isolated pieces, but as parts of a coherent environment.

This phase may include:

• curated selection of European design brands
• development of furniture and lighting direction
• material and object selection
• alignment of aesthetic and functional decisions

03 -SOURCING, Logistics & Project COORDINATION

The final phase focuses on transforming design decisions into a realised environment.

Maison Sand coordinates sourcing, procurement and logistics through a network of European suppliers and production partners.

This stage ensures that selected elements are delivered, integrated and implemented in alignment with the established concept.

This phase may include:

• sourcing furniture, lighting and materials
• procurement and supplier coordination
• logistics and delivery oversight
• collaboration with architects and project teams
• maintaining coherence throughout implementation

PROJECT SCENARIOS

Clients approach Maison Sand at different stages of a project.

Some already work with an architect and need support with sourcing, brand selection and logistics.

Others come earlier in the process and require help structuring the design direction and connecting the right project partners.

Maison Sand can engage selectively in specific phases or support the project more comprehensively — from concept development through sourcing, coordination and implementation.
